Academic Advising and Career Services Center

Academic advisors and career services advisors are available through virtual appointments, resources, workshops and events.  Services are available remotely and can be scheduled at the online appointment system on the website or by emailing or Students can learn more at the Academic Advising and Career Services Center.

Books and Course Materials

Students can order their books online through the university bookstore which will ship hard copy materials to students in advance of class.  E-books are available right away.  For printed course material, two-day shipping options are available at the university bookstore but students should order their books at least one week in advance of classes to ensure their books arrive on time (and continue to monitor the bookstore website in case this timeframe changes due to shipping delays related to COVID).  Students may use financial aid to pay for their books at the university bookstore.

Remote Learning Resources

Technical Assistance

Students can request a laptop, headset or webcam by sending an email to

When sending a request include:
•    Name and 98#
•    Mailing address where the equipment should be shipped
•    Statement you will otherwise have no computer to use for your classes to participate in remote learning
•    Commitment to return the laptop/webcam when requested by the University (headsets do not need to be returned)

University Library

Despite campus libraries remaining closed, Pacific students, faculty and staff have remote access to all of the library's digital content which includes nearly 400,000 e-books and e-journals, over one hundred publisher databases and over 40,000 streaming videos.

Current faculty, staff and students can request materials through the library catalog. Material will take 24-48 hours to be pulled and can be delivered through mail or via curbside pickup.

To request an item:

  • While searching the online catalog, when you find a book you’d like, click on the Request It button
  • You will be prompted to log in to your library account, if you’re not signed in already
  • Complete the form, selecting the location of Stockton Campus Library 
  • Library staff will contact you via email for delivery options 
  • The requestor is responsible for lost and replacement material(s)
  • Electronic materials/articles can still be requested via Interlibrary Loan (ILL)
  • Link+ and ILL print material are not eligible for mailing
