Blood Drive with the Dugoni Alumni Association
Every day there is somebody in need of blood. Every day there is a family emergency. Patients need someone like you, a person willing to take the time out of their day to encourage others to donate blood. Our blood drives are a critical part of Vitalant’s lifesaving mission, which has a direct impact on patients such as these recent recipients.Click here to schedule an appointment March 6Location: Bloodmobile parked on MinnaGoal: 20 appointments, 14 donors, and 16 lifesaving units of blood!Things to KnowReview Vitalant’s Blood Donation Eligibility.Arrive well-nourished and hydrated.New donors need an ID with full first and last name (legal name) and either a photo or date of birth.The donation process takes approximately one hour (add an additional 20 minutes for a Power Red donation)Power Red Donation — Power up your donation with an automated double red cell donation.Fast Track — Donors can complete the health questionnaire online prior to arriving to the drive — visit vitalant.org and click the ‘Health History Questionnaire’ link. The questionnaire must be completed the same day as the donation. If possible, we encourage you to complete the fast track prior to arrival (and print the QR code, or bring a screen shot with you).
