Capital Careers: Tips to Get Your Foot in the Door
Do you want to pursue a career in public policy or politics but don’t know where to start? Want to learn more about working in and around the Capitol as a legislative staffer, lobbyist, government attorney, or public policy advisor? Join us to learn more about the experience of four McGeorge alums who have successfully navigated the path to Capital careers.
Brittney Barsotti (JD ‘17) is General Counsel of the California News Publishers Association.
Mariana Corona Sabeniano (MSL ‘15) is Chief of Staff for Senator Monique Limón.
Amanda Kirchner (JD ‘06) is Director of Legislative Advocacy for the County Welfare Directors Association of California and previously served as Legislative Director for Assemblymember Ken Cooley.
Arvinder Kaur (JD ‘21) is an attorney focused on campaign finance, lobbying, and election law at Olson Remcho.
