COVID-19 Supplemental Paid Sick Leave extension

Dear Faculty, Staff and Student Employees,

Thank you for your continued efforts and commitment to keeping one another safe as COVID-19 continues to be present in our communities. In support of these efforts, we are happy to announce that the Governor of California has extended the provision of COVID-19 paid sick leave hours through December 31, 2022. Every employee who currently has hours available to them can continue to use this time to care for themselves and/or their family.

Please continue to use your COVID-19 sick time as needed and described on our COVID-19 website.

Pacific employees also continue to have leave options if eligibility requirements are met. These include FMLA (Family Medical and Leave Act) and CFRA (California Family Rights Act). Wage replacement options include SDI (State Disability Insurance) and PFL (Paid Family Leave) through the Employment Development Department.
