Enrollment Management update - Nov. 2018

Enrollment Management update - Nov. 2018

Enrollment Management is excited to update the community on expanded partnerships with Academic Affairs aimed at driving applications and enrollments at Pacific.

In July 2018, we held the Summer Roar program for rising high school seniors and transfer students. Both undergraduate admission and academic units have been working together to better position Pacific in the marketplace. Our goal for Pacific is to be students' first choice college and to improve yield on admitted students.

To date the Admission Office has:

  1. Reframed its marketing to high school seniors to emphasize academic programs and faculty/student partnerships
  2. Launched a robust integrated campaign leveraging print, email and social media that reaches applicants and their families on a weekly basis
  3. Released a transfer student handbook to better prepare incoming transfer students for success in Pacific programs.

This spring, plans are in place for college-hosted admitted student days and off-site admitted student events that will allow faculty the opportunity to interact directly with admitted students seeking to learn more about our programs.

Immediately on the horizon, we are hosting our annual Open House Saturday, Nov. 10, with over 2,000 guests registered to attend. This annual event gives our schools and colleges multiple opportunities to demonstrate to students and their families how Pacific's commitment to undergraduate teaching provides an educational experience not available at other colleges.

Admission is most appreciative of all the ways in which faculty support our programs.
