Mariathe Barncord is a new registration receptionist in the Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry.

Jeremy Cabaccang is a new professional academic adviser/retention specialist in the Office of the Provost.

Stan Constantino transferred to Assistant Dean, Admissions, in the Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry.

Marjan Hazrati is a new clinical education liaison in the Office of the Provost.

Antonia Hernandez transferred to administrative assistant II in the Thomas J. Long School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.

Leonel Laxamana is a new sterilization dispensing in the Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry.

Leonard Libres was promoted to manager of student and credential services in the Gladys L. Benerd School of Education.

Clarice Luis is a new academic financial analyst in the Office of the Provost.

Sonya North is a new program services specialist in the Thomas J. Long School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.

Ashley Sousa is a new records assistant II/admin assistant II in University College.

Business and Finance

Elizabeth Ledesma was promoted to director of Student Business Services.

Toby Rose was promoted to senior superintendent, grounds/custodial in Physical Plant.

Development and Alumni Relations

Amy Field was promoted to director of parent and special project philanthropy in Parent and International Giving. 

Christopher Ortega was promoted to associate director for alumni engagement in Alumni Relations.

Enrollment Management

Wendi Loredo is a new financial aid coordinator on the Sacramento Campus.

Jonathan Latta transitioned to enrollment management July 1 as the interim executive director of undergraduate admission and concluded his service as the chief of staff for the Office of the President, where he had served since 2017. In his new role, he provides leadership for the Office of Undergraduate Admission and works with stakeholders across the university to develop and implement strategies to support Pacific’s undergraduate enrollment goals for fall 2020. Jonathan joined Pacific in 2014 as assistant dean of the Conservatory of Music, where his responsibilities included enrollment services. He is also an alumnus of the conservatory.

Aquila Galgon joins Pacific July 15 as the new executive director of financial aid. She will provide leadership for the Office of Financial Aid and oversight of financial aid and student loan programs for undergraduate, graduate and professional students. Aquila has more than two decades of experience managing financial aid programs, including launching programs for online degrees. She most recently served as the executive director of financial aid and compliance for the Touro College and University System. Aquila has also worked as a consultant, helping institutions navigate complex regulatory, processing and technical challenges. She brings with her exceptional knowledge of Title IV compliance requirements and an understanding of the many issues confronting financial aid operations and higher education.

Pacific Technology

Gary Gehman is a new technical support specialist II in the Customer Support Center.

Angela Melero is a new CRM manager in Technology Architecture.

Mishi Chua is a new graphic designer in the Office of Marketing and Communications.

Jeremy Neisser is a new assistant athletics director for marketing and community engagement in Athletics.

Student Life

Joshua Harzman transferred to assistant director of housing on the Sacramento Campus.

Luly Sbeta is a new residence director in Housing and Greek Life.
