Student vaccination status deadline is July 6

Dear Pacific Students,

We are all thrilled to see you in person on campus!

As you know, Pacific is requiring all students to be vaccinated for COVID-19, unless they have a medical or religious exemption as documented by a submitted and approved declination form. If you have not already done so, please upload your vaccination card or a declination form no later than July 6, 2021. The vaccination status of individuals is shared with Pacific employees on a ‘need to know’ basis only as necessary for the health and safety of our campus populations.

If you have not yet been vaccinated, we encourage you to do so in time for Back to Pacific: Ready, Set, Roar! (Summer III), which begins July 17, and fall semester, which begins August 23.

Pacific is holding clinics on its Stockton and Sacramento campuses (the next one is this Saturday). Or use California's My Turn website to make an appointment at a location near you.

Per state and federal guidelines, an individual’s vaccination status determines the protocols that they need to follow.

Fully vaccinated individuals: No COVID-19 related restrictions on campus, with the exception of some clinical settings.

Unvaccinated individuals must:

  • Wear a CDC-approved face covering whenever indoors (residence halls, classrooms, etc.) on campus (unless you are in a room alone).
  • Maintain 6-foot distance from other people when removing face coverings to eat or drink.

Students who do not provide vaccination proof or have an approved declination form on file by July 6, 2021 will be considered to be unvaccinated, and will need to follow the protocols above.
