University Career Services Center transitioning from Tiger Jobs to Handshake

University of the Pacific's Academic Advising and Career Services Center s upgrading its online job board and transitioning from Tiger Jobs to Handshake on June 15. Handshake is the country’s leading job board for college students, recent grads, career centers and university recruiters.

Pacific is transitioning to stay on track with current recruitment trends. Handshake is the only place that connects students, universities and employers. Top employers from Fortune 500 companies, startups, nonprofits and more are recruiting students on Handshake. Jobs and internships are posted specifically for students, and employers actively recruit at Handshake partner schools, including sending messages to students with event invites, interview requests and new job opportunities. Last year, recruiters sent more than 16 million messages to students.

The last day to access Tiger Jobs is June 14. Departments have been asked to gather any job postings they would like to download and re-post them into Handshake if needed. It is up to the employers/on-campus departments to repost any open positions on Handshake. If you need a Handshake account to post on-campus positions for your department, please contact careerservices@pacific.edu

Students can access Handshake starting June 15 through InsidePacific. Once logged in, select the "Careers tab" then click the “Login to Handshake” link. New students will have access to Handshake after confirming enrollment. As a reminder, once Pacific transitions to Handshake, users will not have access to Tiger Jobs. Please save any documents you would like to keep from the Tiger Jobs system by Sunday, June 14 and be sure to apply to any jobs you are interested in.

If you have any questions, please contact Career Services Center at careerservices@pacific.edu or 209.946.2361.
