Innovating with Purpose

Drones, Virtual Reality, Wearable Technology and More!

Students in this course will be exposed to and will engage with a wide variety of cutting-edge innovative technologies including virtual reality (VR), 3D printing, motion capture and digital design to develop their skills and give them first-hand experience with 21st century design and development techniques in order to merge digital and physical innovation.

Learn how to fly drones to capture video and create 3D models, create interactive virtual reality experiences, learn the fundamentals of 3D printing and design, create animation using artificial intelligence and motion capture suits, use graphic design to create your own custom stickers, design your own custom wearable device that you get to take home, and more!

Curriculum

The Cube’s makerspace environment provides professional hands-on experience across various disciplines merging technology and art. Students will learn creative design techniques, problem solving strategies, content creation and technical skills. Working with others, students gain valuable skills of collaboration and communication in a fast-paced innovative environment.
