Dear Pacific Summer High School Institute Families,

Thank you for enrolling your student. Before they can join us this summer, we need to make sure that we have all necessary information from you.

Every student of the Pacific Summer High School Institute will have their own Pacific ID card, which they will swipe for meals, for entry into their residence hall and much else. You can upload your student's ID photo on our enrollment portal, so that we can welcome them to our campus with the photo ID card ready for them.

While we want students to embrace new experiences, including living with a new roommate in a college residence hall, we also understand that in some cases, a student may have a request to live with a specific person.

We are happy to accommodate roommate requests, as long as they are according to the following two criteria: Roommate requests need to be 1) for the same gender; 2) need to be mutually agreed upon, meaning both students need to request each other. Roommate pairings will be based on the submitted Pacific ID numbers. You can find the Pacific ID in an email that you received shortly after registration, with the subject line "Your Pacific ID."

You can submit the photo and this information one of the following ways:

Preferred method: Please go to pacific.jumbula.com and after logging in, click Home in the menu bar, which will give you a list of forms to fill out.

  • If you haven’t already filled out the "2025 Medical Form", please do it immediately.
  • Then, please click on Fill it now next to the "2025 ID Photo Upload and Roommate Request" form and edit the form, where you can both upload the ID photo and request a specific roommate. Roommate pairings will be based on the submitted Pacific ID numbers (and not by names), so make sure that the ID numbers are correct.

Alternate method: If the above didn’t work, you can go to a simple online form, where you can both upload the ID photo and request a specific roommate. Again, roommate pairings will be based on the submitted Pacific ID numbers, so make sure that they are correct.

Only in case where neither of these methods work: You can also email the photo directly to idphoto@pacific.edu and put the Pacific ID for your student into the subject line.

To learn more on how prepare for our summer institute, please keep studying the enrolled students pages on our website.

Dear Pacific Summer High School Institute Families,

We hope your students have had a great start to their academic or athletic programs during this first week! It’s been a joy to see them learning, engaging, and having fun.

As we head into the weekend and prepare for the final week of the program, we’d like to share a few important reminders and updates.

While staying on campus and joining weekend activities is part of the pre-college experience, we understand that some families may have prior commitments or wish to spend time together. If you plan to sign your student out for the weekend, please do so at the DeRosa University Center Front Desk. Of course, if you miss them (we’re sure they miss you too!), you are welcome to visit and enjoy our beautiful campus together.

We have several fun, family-friendly activities planned for the weekend, including:

  • Movie on the Lawn – Saturday and Sunday evenings
  • Arts and crafts
  • Board games
  • Catholic Mass in our beautiful Morris Chapel

We also want to inform you that the Pacific campus will be used as a filming location from today until the end of Session 1. Please note the following impacts:

  • Parking Lot 7 (behind the fraternity and sorority houses closest to the DeRosa University Center) will be closed for the remainder of the program.
  • Please use Lot 6 or other available parking lots via the Pershing Avenue entrance of our campus. View campus map here.

In addition, from the evening of June 9 through June 12, the Pacific Avenue entrance and surrounding parking lots will be fully closed. Some street and pedestrian access may be rerouted or temporarily closed during this time. Expect to see additional vehicles, personnel, and equipment around campus.

We’ll continue to share updates as needed to ensure you’re informed of any changes that could affect your students’ experience during their final week. Your students have already begun forming meaningful connections, engaging in thoughtful discussions, and enjoying hands-on experiences. It’s been a pleasure to have them with us, and we look forward to an exciting final week!
