The events will be held on Friday, March 22, 2024 on the Stockton campus. Check-in will open at 8:30 a.m. and conference programming will begin at 9 a.m.The registration deadline is March 3, 2024. Propose a workshopThe Center for Identity and Inclusion is accepting workshop proposals for the 2024 Women's Empowerment Conference. We will select four proposals.Authors of selected proposals will receive up to two complimentary registrations, the opportunity to share subject-matter expertise with a large audience and marketing materials promoting themselves and their work. Submit your proposal by Friday, Jan. 26, 2024, 11:59 p.m. PST.The conference brings together women, non-binary and transgender people from all lived experiences and backgrounds – students, alumnae, and friends from the region – for a day of programs and activities designed to inspire and empower them to create positive change in their personal lives, their communities and the world.Dr. Jennifer L. Eberhardt, author of "Biased: Uncovering the Hidden Prejudice That Shapes What We See, Think and Do,” will be the keynote speaker.Those wishing to only attend the Women of Distinction Awards Luncheon must still register for the full conference in order to have a seat. The conference is open to all women. College and university students are encouraged to attend.
