Together, we’ll explore the pivotal moments of the Battle of Antietam, where 23,000 soldiers were killed, wounded, or missing in just twelve hours of fierce combat. The battle marked a turning point in the Civil War, halting the Confederate invasion and prompting President Lincoln to issue the Preliminary Emancipation Proclamation.
