Camille Norton, Department of English, will read from her work and other poets who have inspired her. Professor Norton’s work includes A Folio for the Dark and Corruption (a National Poetry Series winner). Her poetry has appeared in Field, The Colorado Review, The Georgia Review, American Poet: The Journal of the Academy of American Poets, and The Best American Poetry of 2010. She co-edited Resurgent: New Writing by Women, an anthology of experimental writing by women in literature, film, and the visual arts. Professor Norton’s poetry is described “as mysterious, brutal, and beautiful as truth… and fiercely elegant.”
