State Jobs: What You Need to Know
Are you interested in working for CA state government and learning about how to navigate the state hiring process at an event for JD and MPP/MPA/MSL students?
Join four McGeorge alums on Tuesday, March 7 from 5–6 p.m. in Classroom D to learn about different state employment options and gain the benefit of their insights into strategies for finding a state government position:
Heather McCray Pool (JD ‘07) is Assistant Chief Counsel for the CA Board of Parole Hearings.
Jake Gavin (JD ‘21), is a Legislative Analyst for the CA Department of Managed Health Care.
Minisha Trivedi (MPP ’20) is an Assistant Governmental Program Analyst and Forecasting Analyst in the CA Employment Development Department.
Jessica Gosney (JD ’17) is a Deputy Legislative Counsel at the CA Office of Legislative Counsel.
