Employees required to complete Cal/OSHA-mandated COVID-19 return to campus training

A message from Enterprise Risk Management and Human Resources

All employers in the State of California are required to provide employees with COVID training as we return to campus per California’s revised COVID-19 Prevention Emergency Temporary Standards

University of the Pacific has developed a new, revised COVID-19 Return to Campus training for our staff, faculty and students on all three campuses. Because this training aligns with the most recent Cal/OSHA and CDC guidelines, you are required to take it even if you took Pacific’s previous COVID-19 training.

The 20-minute training meets Cal/OSHA requirements and is designed for faculty and staff on the Sacramento and Stockton campus.

Note: This course is mandatory and should be completed as soon as possible and prior to returning and/or coming on to any of Pacific’s campuses or by Friday, August 27, 2021.

Please use this link to enroll in the training in Bridge. (Pacific login required.)

For additional information regarding all of the topics covered in Pacific’s COVID-19 Return to Campus training, please review Pacific’s Health and Safety Plan (links to PDF) on the COVID-19 website.

Please note that if you choose to not state your vaccine status or if you are unvaccinated, you are required to comply with the following workplace safety protocols:

  • Wear face coverings at all times except when in a room alone or eating or drinking.
  • Maintain at least 6 feet of distance from other whenever removing the face covering for eating and drinking.
  • Continue to wear a face covering while in a work cubicle in an open office area.

As a community of Pacificans we can all do our part to keep ourselves and each other healthy and safe!
