Week of Welcome, taking place August 20–24, 2025, is a dynamic series of events designed to help new students transition into the Pacific community after Orientation. Throughout the week, students will participate in signature events such as University Convocation, where the academic journey officially begins; Target Takeover, a fun late-night shopping experience exclusively for new students; Tiger Prowlin’ the Mile, an opportunity to explore Stockton’s Miracle Mile with food, entertainment, and community engagement; and Day of Service, where students come together to give back through meaningful service projects. Week of Welcome is an exciting and essential part of starting your journey at Pacific—building connections, discovering campus resources, and celebrating what it means to be a Tiger.

Why do I have to attend Orientation?
New Student Orientation is mandatory for all incoming students. You will learn about the academic expectations of your major and school, connect with your fellow students, and learn about what it means to be part of the Pacific community.
