Tigers Have Pride

Pride Month is celebrated across the nation each June in honor of the 1969 Stonewall uprising, a pivotal moment in history that ignited a global movement for LGBTQIA2S+ rights and a vibrant tribute to the ongoing fight for equality, visibility, and justice.

At University of the Pacific, this tradition is entering an exciting new chapter. Beginning in 2026, Pride Month will move to October, aligning with LGBTQ+ History Month. This shift creates an even more powerful opportunity for students, faculty, and staff to unite and celebrate the richness of LGBTQIA2S+ identities while deepening awareness of the histories, achievements, and voices that continue to shape our community.

Friday, Oct. 9, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
