The mission of the Emeriti Society is to strengthen ties between its members and the University, to advocate for the interests of emeriti, and to foster collegial relationships with one another. The Society provides events, news releases, and social outreach that allow members to engage with one another and maintain awareness of the activities and successes of the University on its three-city campuses.
The Oral History Project is a collection of conversations and recollections of university members from a variety of academic disciplines with the purpose of helping to preserve the history of the University of the Pacific.
The Memorial List includes names of deceased faculty and administrators who have served the University with distinction and helped create its great academic reputation.
The newsletter is published in Fall and Spring with articles on recent Society activities, topics of interest to members, and personals.
The Emeriti Society uses social media to connect and engage with members, university alumni, and others around the world. Keep in contact.
The Society sponsors a series of events each semester for members, spouses, and invited guests. The Alumni House venue is used for on-campus celebrations and luncheons. For all in the Pacific family that are at or near retirement, InfoSession events provide on-campus and virtual seminars on heathcare, investment planning, and other relevant topics.
