University of the Pacific received a grant from the Antone E. and Marie F. Raymus Foundation to support its mobile Medicare Part D Outreach Clinics. The foundation’s philanthropy strengthens communities throughout the Central Valley, focusing on organizations and initiatives in health care, education and community development. Its grant will help Pacific continue to provide vaccines and medical testing supplies for underserved seniors and adults with disabilities at no cost.
Led by students in the Thomas J. Long School of Pharmacy since 2007, Pacific’s clinics have served nearly 13,000 Medicare beneficiaries throughout San Joaquin and Stanislaus Counties, helping them save millions in prescription drug costs while providing free medication reviews, vaccinations and health screenings. In 2025-26 alone, the clinics helped more than 1,400 patients save over $837,000, identified nearly 1,900 health concerns requiring physician follow-up and delivered nearly 500 vaccines.
