At Pacific, learning is concrete, creative and collaborative. Pacific curates these environments throughout campus to foster valuable hands-on learning across all programs.
The Fletcher Jones Foundation Makerspace, the Robb Family Garden, the Cube, Owen Hall and Pacific’s Gaming Center are key spaces on Pacific’s Stockton campus specially developed for collaborative, community-driven learning.
Fletcher Jones Foundation Makerspace
Pacific’s 10,000-square-foot makerspace boasts state-of-the-art engineering equipment with dedicated spaces for prototyping, 3D printing, woodworking and more. Students of Pacific’s School of Engineering and Computer Science use the makerspace for hands-on learning alongside classmates and professors. The facility is open to all engineering students and other applicable majors and regularly hosts entrepreneurship and engineering showcases.
Owen Hall
Owen Hall houses practice rooms, audio/video recording and reed-making studios, a computer lab, the student-run music label, a jazz suite, a percussion practice area and a composition studio featuring a Buchla Analog Modular synthesizer system.
Video/Beat Studio
One of the two music labs, the Video/Beat Studio is a fully functional video post-production and beat-making recording studio.
Digital Recording Studio
The digital recording studio allows for professional quality recordings. The studio is equipped with a Solid State Logic Origin 32-channel analog recording console, Mac computers, 50-inch plasma displays, ProTools Ultimate, Logic Pro and Ableton Live workstations.
Innovation Commons
Located in the William Knox Holt Library, the Innovations Commons is a technology-rich collaborative space that invites students and faculty to incorporate digital tools into research, teaching and learning.
The Cube
The Cube is a compact, open-concept lab equipped with 3D printers, four virtual and augmented reality stations, large format printing and other tools.
X Space
Across the hall from The Cube is the X Space, a digital media room with multi-projector capabilities for immersive, interactive presentations, and on the south end of the Innovation Commons is a 100-inch interactive touchscreen monitor.
Robb Family Garden
Pacific students and the local Stockton community come together in the Robb Family Garden to harvest fresh-grown fruits and vegetables and celebrate sustainability in the community.

Pacific Gaming Center
The all-new Gaming Center offers you the chance to immerse yourself into the world of gaming. Located on the garden level of the William Knox Holt Memorial Library and Learning Center, this hub is where students of all skill levels can socialize, compete and explore the esports industry. Pacific hosts both recreational video gaming and competitive esports tournaments, complete with monetary prizes and trophies. For those interested in pursuing a career in the field, Pacific offers a for-credit esports class through the Eberhardt School of Business.
