The university's strategic plan, Pacific 2020, was developed in 2012 in response to the changing landscape of higher education: shifting student demographics and expectations, increased demand for educational accountability and affordability, and the need for new pedagogical models.
It provides a vision of responsive change while preserving our commitment to the "Pacific Experience" of high-quality programs, shared values, and a commitment to student-centered education.
The university refreshed its strategic plan in 2017 to create Pacific 2020R, which focuses on two themes, supported by five priorities:
- Students with Purpose
- Agile and Dynamic Growth.
These themes and priorities complement one another and put students — current and future — at the center of our work.
