The Pacific Green Team is a community of student volunteers who are passionate about making a difference at Pacific!
Since 2014, Green Team has worked to increase landfill diversion rates by helping with Green Move In, Green Move Out, and catered events. At events, Green Team members monitor waste stations, ensuring recyclable and compostable materials are kept out of the landfill. This provides reassurance for event participants while decreasing the amount of material sent to the landfill.
All Green Team volunteers receive a Pacific Green Team t-shirt. To join Green Team, sign up for the Green Team Mailing List. You will then be emailed when volunteer opportunities are available. You only work events you volunteer for. Signing up for the mailing list does not mean you have committed to working all Green Team events.
To allow time to coordinate volunteers, please place requests at least two weeks in advance. A confirmation email will be sent once the request has been received.
