Request Waste Educators for an Event
Waste Educators help guests dispose of any food related event waste in the appropriate waste station bin, ensuring your event is zero waste. To allow time to recruit volunteers, please place requests at least two weeks in advance. Waste stations must be requested via FAMIS.
Volunteer as a Waste Educator
Students have been contributing to landfill reduction efforts since 2014, and divert thousands of pounds of waste from landfills every year. Be part of the legacy and make a difference. Volunteer as a waste educator at campus events. Opportunities are posted on Galaxy as they are scheduled.
