Accounting – BS

The University of the Pacific's Bachelor of Science in Accounting is a 128-hour, four-year program designed to prepare students for diverse accounting careers and CPA licensure through comprehensive study of all functional accounting areas and essential business skills.

Applied Mathematics – BS

The applied mathematics major is designed for students who are interested in applying their mathematics skills to problems in the real world, for example, in engineering. Our students graduate with a passion for mathematics and learning and are able to apply the problem-solving skills learned in the classroom to the world around them.

Applied Mathematics – Minor

The minor in Applied Mathematics was developed to provide training in mathematical techniques and computational methods.

Biochemistry – BA, BS

Pacific’s biochemistry program offers a rigorous, research-rich learning experience where students explore the molecular foundations of life and prepare for a wide range of science and health careers.

Chemistry – BS, BA

Pacific’s chemistry program equips students with a strong foundation in chemical principles, hands-on research experience and faculty mentorship to prepare them for careers in health sciences, pharmacy, industry or graduate school.

Data Science – Minor

The data science minor provides you with tools to understand the foundations of data—how it is managed and how to uncover insights from raw information. Data science is recognized as one of the best jobs in America.

Dental Hygiene – BS

Study at our state-of-the-art San Francisco campus. This distinctive accelerated degree offers robust clinical practice and allows entry into many positions in areas of oral hygiene, as well as application for entry into advanced degree programs.

Economics – BA, BS, Minor

An economics degree from University of the Pacific equips you with the theoretical understanding and analytical skills for diverse career paths, emphasizing real-world applications and leadership. You'll gain hands-on experience through internships, research opportunities and our student-run consulting group, leading to strong earning potential and a promising job market.

Engineering Physics – BS

Pacific’s engineering physics degree program will prepare students for success in all technical fields, including AI and machine learning, and culminates in a senior design project applying engineering fundamentals to real-world problems, all while working alongside faculty advisers to personalize study plans aligning with individual academic and career goals.

Finance – BSBA

University of the Pacific’s finance degree is designed to give you a solid theoretical and practical understanding of the industry. You’ll be taught by passionate faculty members, connect with successful alumni, gain real experience in an internship and put your skills into practice by helping manage the Student Investment Fund.

Health and Exercise Sciences – BA, BS

Pacific’s health and exercise sciences major offers immersive learning experiences and innovative teaching methods. Students gain hands-on experience and learn to apply technology to real-world challenges in health and exercise.

Healthcare administration degree - BS 

Pacific’s BS in Healthcare Administration & Leadership provides an opportunity for working adults with some college to return to school and finish their bachelor’s degree.

Human Performance – BA

In the human performance concentration of the Health and Exercise Sciences major, you will study the mechanics of human movement and how they impact our health and wellbeing.

Mathematics – BS, BA

A mathematics degree empowers you to think critically, solve complex problems and apply quantitative reasoning across diverse fields. With University of the Pacific’s small class sizes and a focus on real-world applications, you’ll gain the skills and support to succeed in careers from education to data science.

Music Therapy – BM

Learn to use music interventions in a focused and concentrated manner to bring about healing and change, building on the inherent qualities of music to influence physical, emotional, cognitive and social responses.

Pre-Dentistry – BS

An accelerated pathway to Pacific's nationally renowned dental program University of the Pacific’s Pre-Dental Advantage Program provides a highly effective route for students entering college for the first time and looking to pursue a career as a doctor in a dental clinic or a private practice.  When you complete the program, you will earn both a Bachelor of Science degree from the College of the Pacific (Stockton Campus) and a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry (San Francisco Campus).

About the Pre-Pharmacy Advantage Program

Set yourself up for success to become a highly skilled pharmacist by enrolling in the Pre-Pharmacy Advantage Program (BAAS) at the Thomas J. Long School of Pharmacy. In a program tailored specifically for first-time freshmen, Pre-Pharmacy Advantage students earn their PharmD degree to serve as compassionate, patient-centered pharmacists in as little as five years.

Public Health – BS, BA

Pacific's public health and community wellness program prepares you for a career in one of the many nonclinical areas of health care that require a broad base of knowledge in the social sciences and the humanities.

Speech-Language Pathology – BS, Minor

Speech-language pathology is a professional program of habilitative and rehabilitative services that leads to occupations involved with persons with communication disorders. Speech-language pathologists work with people of all ages and are prepared to evaluate speech and language problems.

Sports Management – BSBA
