What is your favorite thing to do on campus?
I love walking on our beautiful campus and finding peace in nature. The colorful roses blooming in fields of glorious green are truly mesmerizing as I try to admire each and every one.
What is your favorite place to go to Stockton?
One of my favorite places is the Downtown Stockton Waterfront. I enjoy the historical architecture, public art, music, dining, and sunsets on the waterfront promenade.
What is your favorite movie and why?
The Day After Tomorrow. I find apocalyptic action films fascinating as we cannot predict future uncertainty, and I’m curious to see people confront those challenges and overcome them.

What is your favorite thing to do on campus?
During the summer, I enjoy walking around the campus, the trees create a calming effect and it’s very peaceful. I also enjoy watching our Athletic teams compete.
What is your favorite place to go to in Stockton?
One of my favorite places to go in Stockton is Garlic Brothers. I really enjoy dining outside on the water and I can always count on them to make the perfect Tri-tip salad! It’s a great place to meet up with friends and family while enjoying the live music and the beautiful view of the Delta water ways.
What is your favorite movie?
It’s hard for me to choose a favorite movie because I like so many genres. Lately I’ve been interested in documentaries. A cool one that I've recently watched is called Queen Cleopatra, this depiction of her kept her true to her ethnic background. I also like movies that are based on true stories, one of my favorites is Ray. Great movie with great music! However, I would be remiss if I didn’t mention that I’m a Marvel fan!

What is your favorite thing to do on campus?
I enjoy taking lunch at the DeRosa University Center! This spot is a hub on campus for hungry students and staff, and they offer a wide variety of fresh food options on the daily. While there are several places to eat there, the River Room is my favorite because it is high-end, all-you-can-eat, and it even overlooks the Calaveras River. We also celebrate Pacific Fridays right outside of the DUC every week to show off our school spirit. Go Tigers!!
What is your favorite place to go to in Stockton?
Terra Coffee on North Yosemite Street! It’s a wonderful little café in a historic part of town that offers freshly ground coffee, delectable bites to eat and cozy vibes. I adore my weekend morning walks to Terra, where I can sit back, relax and enjoy my caffeine.
What is your favorite movie?
My favorite movie is Snowpiercer. This post-apocalyptic action film, based on a French graphic novel, takes place aboard a train as it travels across the frozen globe, carrying the last remnants of humanity, after a failed attempt at climate engineering to stop global warming. The film follows one of the lower-class tail-section passengers as they rebel against the elite to the front of the train for a chance at a better life. The film’s vision, direction and performances are all superb!

What is your favorite thing to do on campus?
My favorite thing to do is to attend Pacific events. For example, the annual event organized by Kilusan is called PCN, or Pilipino Cultural Night. PCN is a student-led production of acting, cultural dancing, singing and more. The Pacific community has a variety of athletic events, Homecoming and more. There are always fun opportunities to show Pacific Pride!
What is your favorite place to go to Stockton?
Lincoln Center has all my go-to spots. There are many places to eat, relax and shop. Whether it is Orange Theory Fitness for a fun workout, or a grocery run at Trader Joe's, Lincoln Center has something for everyone! There are fun events such as Music on the Brick walk, the semiannual Sidewalk Sale, and even fun seasonal backdrops for perfect photo opportunities for all friends and family.
What is your favorite movie and why?
"Blue Bayou" is a must-watch film that definitely needs a box of tissues prepped by your side! I was able to watch this film because Pacific held an AAPI Heritage Film Festival at the Janet Leigh Theatre in April 2022. This film is important to our history, growth and gratitude. After watching this film, I hope people are motivated to be more educated about our society and to strive for improvement for a better future. Let me know your thoughts if you decide to watch it or if you have watched it!

What is your favorite thing to do on campus?
My favorite thing to do is take walks. My favorite times are near sunset, when golden hour brightens Burns Tower, and also at night to clear my head. Seeing how gorgeous the campus and the duality it holds at any time of day is breathtaking and never gets old!
What is your favorite place to go to in Stockton?
My go-to spot is the taco truck Don Rafas! It is off of East Miner Avenue and North Airport Way. I also have so many fun memories of getting food late nights with my fraternity brothers, or even introducing my other friends to an amazing local spot.
What is your favorite movie and why?
I grew up watching movies with my mom every day after school and with family on the weekends, so it is hard to choose! Narrowing it down, my favorite movie would be "Crazy Rich Asians." This film does an amazing job covering romance/comedy while also sneaking in very important topics about socioeconomic stereotypes, racism within one's culture, and the struggles of balancing love and family.

What is your favorite thing to do on campus?
I look forward to any Pacific sporting event that occurs at the Spanos Center. Watching athletics is always fun and supporting our volleyball or basketball teams with hundreds of Pacific alumni and current Pacificans is an activity that is equal to none. In a moment, a first-year Tiger is offered the opportunity to become united among an entire stadium full of Tigers.
Where is your favorite place to go to in Stockton?
The Japanese Garden in Micke Grove Regional Park is located just on the outskirts of northern Stockton. The Koi ponds compounded with the tōrō—Japanese stone lanterns—creates a serene ambience and reminds me of the rich traditions that East Asian culture has imparted upon the world. Additionally, the county museum located in the park pays homage to the Yokut and Miwok Native Americans who had originally settled the land that is now Stockton. Thus, the celebration of multiple cultures in one day trip is both educational and inspiring.
What is your favorite movie and why?
"Inception" is my favorite movie by default. At this point, I must be faithful to this movie as my top pick because many friends and family know this to be a fact attached to me. Yet, I will argue ‘til infinitum that "Inception" is the best movie ever made. Reason #9: Time…

My favorite thing to do on campus is hang out in McCaffrey Center. I enjoy visiting with friends and colleagues in the Center for Identity & Inclusion, Success Trio, and the Community Involvement Program. McCaffrey Center houses spaces designated to 1st generation college students and is home to me. I also enjoy stopping by The Grove to pick up an occasional snack or bite to eat.

My favorite thing to do in Stockton is explore the California Delta waterways through some of our marinas. In the hot summer months, I am often out boating and in the cooler weather I enjoy time fishing with my children.

I enjoy watching lots of movies. If I had to pick a few of my favorites, they would be Forrest Gump, Devil Wears Prada, Stepmom, Steel Magnolias, Till, and Black Judas. The list goes on and on.

I enjoy meals at Angelina’s Spaghetti House. You can’t beat the ravioli dishes there. I love the cool old-school environment, as well.

Hitch. Kevin James and Will Smith in this movie together are a riot! I love laughing at the first-kiss scene and all the funny dance scenes throughout the movie.

What is your favorite thing to do on campus?
Watch the Tigers play a game! Not just the "big" sports either. Watching water polo or softball are great watches. Great atmosphere with not a bad seat in the house.
What is your favorite place to go to in Stockton?
I don't go as often as I should, but catching a concert at the Bob Hope Theater is amazing. It's such a beautiful space that not enough people see.
What is your favorite movie and why?
Blazing Saddles. There are so many things in that movie that would NEVER pass the censors today. Mel Brooks didn't care though; he knew it was making the movie better and what did he get in the end? A classic. Everyone knows a line from that movie.
