Andrea Sanchez-Johnson joined Pacific in 2025 as the inaugural Director of Spirit and Community Engagement, a role that bridges both Student Life and Athletics. In this position, she leads efforts to ignite school spirit, foster community pride and elevate the student experience through the university’s growing Spirit Program.

Before joining Pacific, Andrea dedicated 13 years as a high school educator, teaching elective courses including dance production. Her commitment to cheer and dance runs deep—she is a former collegiate cheerleader and owned a successful all-star cheer gym. These experiences shaped her into a seasoned leader in the industry.

Andrea also brings professional expertise as a judge and seasonal camp manager with Varsity Spirit, where she evaluates performances and helps train the next generation of athletes in a per diem capacity.

She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Chapman University and a Master of Arts in Forensic Psychology from Argosy University. Andrea’s unique blend of educational leadership and industry experience and her passion for spirit make her a driving force in building traditions, strengthening community and championing Tiger pride.
