Bil Van Ness

Bil Van Ness is a Lecturer at the University of the Pacific. He teaches Animation, as well as other media-related courses. Originally from Long Island, New York, Bil is a seasoned animation professional with over 30 years of experience in the film and video game industries, where he specialized in feature animation, in-game and cinematic animation, and visual effects. He’s worked as an animator on over 20 games and movies across the western United States, and in countries like Australia, Canada and the U.K.

Bil brings his extensive industry experience to University of the Pacific in order to prepare students for their own creative careers.
