Professor Emerita Dorothy Landsberg is a part-time staff attorney in the Housing Advocacy Clinic. Professor Landsberg served as the Associate Dean for Experiential Learning from July 2015 to June 2017, and before that she served as Associate Dean for Academic Affairs since July 2013. Prior to her Associate Dean roles, she served as Director of Legal Clinics for four years. Under her Clinical leadership, McGeorge launched a Federal Defender Clinic and a Prisoner Civil Rights Mediation Clinic.

From 1987 until 2007, Professor Landsberg was initially an associate and later a partner with one of Sacramento's largest law firms, Kronick, Moskovitz, Tiedemann, and Girard. At the Kronick firm she served as head of the Employment and Labor Group, the head of the Education Group, and Chairperson of the Board of Directors. A specialist in education and employment law, Professor Landsberg has litigated cases before administrative law judges, trial courts and the California Courts of Appeal, as well as conducted independent investigations of employment practices and participated in collective bargaining. Currently, Professor Landsberg assists with the Homeless Advocacy Clinic.
