
Flavio Araujo
Flavio Araujo is a seasoned stage and technical director with over 20 years of experience in live sound, theatrical production, touring and studio engineering.
At University of the Pacific’s Conservatory of Music, Araujo leads all technical operations across performance halls, studios and event spaces—overseeing stage management, sound design, lighting and production logistics for concerts, recitals, theatrical performances and institutional events.
Over the course of his career, Araujo has worked extensively on tours, with symphony orchestras and alongside internationally recognized artists. He has served as lead engineer and production manager in major venues, recording studios and broadcast environments, earning a reputation for precision, innovation and calm, solution-oriented leadership.
Fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese, Araujo brings a global perspective to technical direction and team collaboration. His expertise in audio and visual systems—including wireless technology and professional-grade consoles—is complemented by a deep understanding of the artistic, acoustic and logistical demands of live performance.
At the Conservatory, Araujo also plays a critical role in mentoring students and supporting faculty, bridging academic instruction with professional production standards. He fosters a collaborative, student-centered environment that emphasizes creativity, technical excellence and real-world readiness.
