Patrick Pansoy
Dr. Patrick Pansoy oversees the International Dental Studies (IDS) program for both the San Francisco and Sacramento campuses, providing oversight on curriculum design and learning experience; coordinating facility needs; and facilitating student learning in didactic, simulation and clinic settings, while collaborating with various departments to ensure program success and student support.
Dr. Pansoy earned his first dental degree from Cebu Doctors’ University in the Philippines and his second dental degree from the Dugoni School’s IDS program, and completed a certificate in Teaching, Innovation, and Design at University of the Pacific’s Bernerd College. He is a practicing dentist in the Bay Area and enjoys how teaching keeps him up to date on the latest innovations in dentistry when caring for his patients.
As an alumni of the IDS program, Dr. Pansoy served as American Dental Association (ADEA) chapter co-president and completed the ADEA Academic Dental Careers Fellowship. He has been honored with the Dr. Sig Abelson Award for Achievement in Leadership and the Dr. Gene and Rosemary Dixon IDS Scholarship Award. Patrick was awarded a scholarship for the ADEA/Academy for Academic Leadership (AAL) Institute for Teaching and Learning (ITL) Program, which he completed in 2021.
