Dr. Robert Sheffield grew up in Walnut Creek, and his family has strong ties to the Antioch and East County area. His grandfather was the first football coach at Antioch High School and his grandmother was a long-time English teacher at Antioch Middle School. Dr. Rob attended UCLA, where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a Political Science degree. He decided to follow his calling to be a dentist, attending the School of Dentistry at his alma mater, graduating with honors. He continued his training at UCLA completing a combined orthodontics and pediatric dentistry residency. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics..
