Teaching Philosophy
My goal as a faculty member is to prepare students not only with clinical knowledge and skills, but with the confidence and critical thinking they need to thrive as professional nurses. I believe in meeting students where they are, drawing on real clinical experiences to make complex concepts meaningful, and creating a classroom environment where questions are welcomed and growth is expected. I am especially passionate about gerontological care, evidence-based practice, and supporting students in understanding the full scope of nursing’s role in promoting health equity and quality outcomes.
