Satyanarayana Goda, PhD earned his bachelor of science in pharmacy and master of science in pharmacology from Kakatiya University in India. He earned his doctor of philosophy in pharmaceutical sciences from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. He served as a post-doctoral research associate at University of Pacific from 2011 to 2012.

Dr. Goda’s passion for pharmaceutical sciences began with a deep curiosity about how medicines can profoundly improve people’s lives. Witnessing how effective treatments can restore health and hope inspired him to explore the science that makes such outcomes possible. Pursuing pharmaceutical sciences allows him to combine his enthusiasm for scientific discovery with his commitment to enhancing public health. Dr. Goda is a member of the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists.

Dr. Goda strives to help students bridge the gap between theory and practice. What drew him to Pacific was the strong emphasis on experiential learning through internships, community engagement and hands-on projects.

Along with hiking, he enjoys playing cricket and tennis. A scientist and a chef, Dr. Goda is enthusiastic about cooking and enjoys the process of experimenting with new recipes. An avid world traveler, his goal is to visit every continent at least once to experience the planet’s diverse cultures and perspectives.
