Simon A. LeBleu is an Adjunct Professor at the University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law, where he teaches Estate and Gift Tax/Estate Planning, and Income Taxation of Trusts and Estates. His courses emphasize the practical application of federal transfer taxation, fiduciary income taxation, and sophisticated estate planning strategies for individuals, families, and closely held businesses.
Mr. LeBleu is an attorney with Fennemore, where his practice focuses on estate planning, trust and estate administration, probate litigation, business succession planning, and federal transfer taxation. He represents individuals, families, fiduciaries, closely held businesses, and nonprofit and tax-exempt organizations in achieving their wealth preservation, succession planning, and charitable giving objectives.
Mr. LeBleu earned his Bachelor of Science degree from California State University, Sacramento, his Juris Doctor from the University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law, graduating with dual concentrations in Business and Taxation, and his Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Taxation from the University of San Francisco School of Law.
Mr. LeBleu regularly publishes on developments in estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer taxation for California Continuing Education of the Bar (CEB) and the California Lawyers Association's Trusts and Estates Section. He is also a frequent speaker at legal education programs and professional conferences, presenting on topics involving federal transfer taxation.
