Stacey Moon
Dr. Stacey Moon is from Chicago and South Korea. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in 2010 from the University of Notre Dame, where she was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. She then received her DDS degree in 2014 from UCSF, where she conducted research in craniofacial development and volunteered on medical mission trips to Haiti. She graduated at the top of her class and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) Dental Honor Society.
After dental school, she completed a fellowship in underserved dentistry at the UCSD Free Dental Clinics where she also volunteered in Mexico and with the US Navy. During this time, she served as community faculty for the UCSD School of Medicine as well as adjunct faculty for the College of Dental Medicine at Roseman University of Health Sciences.
She returned to the Bay Area to be with her now husband and completed a hospital-based general practice residency at the VA Medical Center in Palo Alto. Dr. Moon practiced as a general dentist in the East Bay for four years before starting an orthodontic residency at the Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco, where she subsequently earned her Certificate in Orthodontics and Master of Science in Dentistry (MSD). She is an ABO board-certified orthodontist.
In her free time, she enjoys reading, cooking, playing the piano, and spending time with her two daughters.
