Greek Life at Pacific is committed to fostering the holistic learning, leadership and personal development of students affiliated with social, professional and multicultural fraternities and sororities. As value and mission-driven organizations, fraternities and sororities cultivate lifelong relationships grounded in shared principles and traditions. These organizations emphasize leadership development, academic excellence, community service and personal integrity, empowering students to contribute meaningfully to both campus life and the broader community while advancing the mission of the university.

Fraternities and sororities have a rich and longstanding history at Pacific, dating back to 1854 with the founding of the Archania Literary Society, the first chartered fraternal organization west of the Mississippi River. Since that time, numerous organizations have established a home at Pacific, each contributing to the vibrant and dynamic student experience.

Today, Pacific proudly supports a diverse array of social, professional and multicultural Greek organizations. The university recognizes the positive impact these organizations have on their members and the broader campus community, as they foster belonging, leadership, scholarship and service as integral components of the Pacific experience.
