Summer Housing

Students who would like to sign up for Summer 2020 Housing can submit their requests through the Housing Portal on insidePacific beginning March 16, 2020. Housing is offered in select apartment communities only, as there are no meal plans offered in the summer, and students can use their apartment kitchens to prepare meals. The cost for summer housing is $750 per session.

Summer 2020 Class Sessions

  • Session I: May 11 - June 12, 2020 
  • Session II: June 15 - July 17, 2020
  • Session III: July 20 - August 21, 2020

Summer 2020 Housing Contract Dates

  • Session I: May 10 - June 13, 2020 
  • Session II: June 14 - July 18, 2020
  • Session III: July 19 - August 21, 2020

Contract Termination may be made without penalty one week prior to the start of the summer session. For contracts terminated after the one week, there will be a $100 termination fee and it will be applied to the student's account.

Housing prices are based on the length of a Summer School session.  The cost is $750 per session, 5 weeks.


Check-In and Check-Out for Summer Housing

Students who reside on-campus for the Spring 2020 and are attending Summer Session I will stay in their same room/building until May 15-16, 2020. Once students have vacated rooms designated for summer housing, we will clean the room and facilities before you are able to move into your summer assignment. Students who currently live off-campus (Spring 2020), must contact Residential Life & Housing to make arrangements for an early check-in. Students attending Session II and/or Session III will be able to move in the Sunday before the start of the respective session.

All check-in periods are between 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM on the designated dates. All exceptions must be approved in writing by the Director for Housing Operations & Technology, or their designee. Any student who checks-in outside the approved check-in window without written permission will be subject to an additional charge. The check-in dates and times for summer housing contracts are as follows:

  • Session I (May 10 to June 13, 2020): Current Spring residents living on campus during Session I will stay in their same Spring 2020 assignment through May 15-16, 2020. For off-campus students: Check-In: May 10; 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM; Check-Out: June 13 by 12:00 PM

  • Session II (June 14 - July 18, 2020): Check-In: June 14; 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM; Check-Out: July 18 by 12:00 PM.

  • Session III (July 19 - August 21, 2020): Check-In: July 19; 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM; Check-Out: August 15 by 12:00 PM move to Fall 2020 assignments; August 15 by 12:00 PM for students not on-campus for Fall 2020 (including Delta Gamma and Kappa Alpha Theta). Please NOTE: Session III is available under the following conditions:  a) students who will reside in university-owned residential facilities for the Fall 2020 Semester with the understanding they will be required to move into their Fall 2020 Housing assignment prior to the end of Session III; b) students who do not have housing (university-owned) for Fall 2020 will be required to move out of their summer assignment by 12:00 PM on August 15, 2020.
