Pacific Open Educational Resources $1,000,000 Savings Celebration
The William Knox Holt Memorial Library and Learning Center has administered a summer stipend program for faculty to review, adopt or create Open Educational Resources (OER) since 2017. So far a total of 82 stipends have been awarded. 6,246 students have been impacted and they have saved a total of $1,035,528 in textbook/course material costs.
Reaching $1 million dollars saved to our students is a landmark worth celebrating! The Library invites the university community to come listen to brief remarks from our faculty and students who have engaged in the program thus far and celebrate the amazing work our faculty have done on behalf of our incredible students.
Food and beverages will be provided.
