Pacific Wind Bands
University of the Pacific's Conservatory of Music presents Pacific Wind Bands conducted by Professor Vu Nguyen and guest conductor Edwin C. Powell. The concert will also feature Stockton’s Edison High School Concert Band I (Chris McCoy, Daniel Coronado, conductors), Franklin High School Band (Jacquéline Hairston, conductor) and Pacific Double Reed Sextet.
The featured performance of the evening is Giovanni Santos's "Dolores, AmeriCan: Symphony for Band."
Other works by Randall D. Standridge, Robert W. Smith, John Philip Sousa, Genaro Codina, Susan LaBarr, Katahj Copley, Viet Cuong, Dmitri Shostakovich and Vicente Lusitano.
