Lunch will be provided. Professor Beydoun is the author of the critically acclaimed books American Islamaphobia: Understanding the Roots and Rise of Fear & The New Crusades: Islamophobia and the Global War on Muslims. He is a leading scholar on constitutional law, civil rights, and critical race theory, who has served on the US Commission for Civil Rights. He appears frequently in The New York Times and The Washington Post, as well as on CNN, The BBC, and ESPN. Professor Beydoun is widely regarded as one of the leading experts on identity matters tied to Arab, Middle Eastern, and Muslim identity in the world.
