Message from Interim Dean Elisa M. Chávez
Dear Class of 2026 Graduates:
You can be proud of all that you accomplished while you were enrolled at the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry. It was, indeed, my privilege and a pleasure to serve as your Interim Dean and to support your growth during this wonderful and pivotal time in your life. I was inspired as I watched you transform into confident and competent leaders who will serve our great profession well. We all look forward to seeing the impact each of you will have on your communities and within our profession.
The faculty and staff of the Dugoni School are so proud to have you as part of our family and welcome you as alumni. You have built some amazing bonds with one another and I encourage you to maintain those relationships and be active with the Dugoni School Alumni Association. Please consider attending or volunteering for events in your area, coming back for events in San Francisco, or serving on our board. Our DDS, IDS, Hygiene, and Ortho and Endo residency classes have all been a part of our long history of excellence and demonstrated a commitment to our professional values and dedication to our people and programs. Your legacy will pave the way for all the students and residents who will follow you at the Dugoni School of Dentistry. I am so proud of each of you for your engagement and leadership as students, and I know you are poised to support our school and lead our profession into the future.
