Dugoni Class of 2023 shows video creativity

Introducing the incoming class of the Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry—in their finest TikTok style.

Members of the Class of 2023 already have started bonding, piecing together an entertaining video with toothbrushes serving as a “baton” passed from one student to another.

This all happens with the background voice of animated children’s entertainer Chip Skylark (actually, ’N Sync founding member Chris Kirkpatrick) singing “My Shiny Teeth and Me.”

“What makes me happy
Fills me up with glee?
Those bones in my jaw!
Don’t have a flaw
My shiny teeth and me.”

Each of the incoming students has casual and business-like personas in their video cameos.

“We love their creative spirit,” said Dan Soine, the Dugoni School's director of marketing and communications.

The video ends with students’ parting thoughts:

“We would like to extend our well wishes of good health and safety during these challenging times. We also want to tell you we feel so thankful, excited and eager to join the Dugoni school family. Until then, be safe and stay healthy.”
