Fun for all ages at Pacific Family Fun Day
University of the Pacific welcomed employees and their family members for a day of sunshine and fun during Pacific Family Fun Day this past weekend.
The event, co-hosted by the Academic Council and Staff Advisory Council, and sponsored by Interim President Maria Pallavicini, was an opportunity for faculty, staff and their families to spend a day outdoors on Knoles Lawn.
The employees and their families enjoyed a selection of barbecue food and sides, and plenty of fun was had by all who attended. While some children rejoiced inside a bounce house, others threw frisbees with friends or were eager to have their face painted.
Family Fun Day also gave people an opportunity to meet their colleagues from other departments and simply soak up the sun with good food and conversation.
Faculty and staff should look for a survey coming out soon asking for feedback on this event.
