Incoming student and family orientations have begun

Orientation sessions for the fall 2019 semester have begun. Pacific welcomed incoming transfer students and their families to the Stockton Campus June 21–22 and the first series of freshman student orientation sessions will be held June 25–26 and June 28–29. The second series of orientation sessions begins August 18.

During these sessions, orientation leaders, faculty and staff will greet our new Pacificans, introduce them to life on campus and provide information on resources and the many exciting opportunities for involvement.

Here's how you can help welcome the newest members of the Pacific family:

  • Greet new students and their families! When you're walking on campus, be sure to say "hello," stop and chat or just flash a smile!
  • Wear Pacific attire! With your department's approval, we encourage you to wear your Pacific attire and nametag on orientation days in June and August.

Please be aware of the following impact during orientation:

  • Parking and traffic: While we have asked our new students and their families to park in "B" lots, they may not be aware of the different parking areas. If you encounter extra traffic or see a visitor's car parked in "A" during orientation, please be understanding and plan accordingly for possible delays when you enter or exit campus.

If you have any questions or would like additional information, please contact New Student & Family Programs at 209.946.7619 or orientation@pacific.edu.
