Information for our return to campus Monday
Dear Pacificans,
We are excited to welcome you back to our campuses Monday. As we shared with you this week, the COVID-19 Council has updates, guidelines and resources to support you on your return to campus and to protect the health and safety of our communities: Test on campus first
- All Pacificans are required to test on campus before going to your workplace or classroom, and then on a weekly basis until further notice.
- To avoid delays before beginning school or work next week, you may test at any Pacific campus testing clinic this week.
- Stockton and Sacramento campus testing clinics are open until 6 p.m. today and 9 a.m.–noon tomorrow for your convenience. Find testing clinic information on our website. Testing is on a first-come, first-served basis.
- If you have tested COVID-19 positive in the past 90 days, please visit our website for additional guidance about testing.
Get vaccinated or boosted
- Pacific requires members of the Pacific community to be fully vaccinated and to receive a COVID-19 vaccine booster as soon as you are eligible. Pfizer and Moderna vaccine recipients are eligible for a booster five months after their second dose.
- Pacific is holding vaccination clinics on the Stockton and Sacramento campuses. Our next clinic is tomorrow, Jan. 29 on the Stockton Campus. We will provide first, second and booster doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine to all eligible people. We also will offer flu shots.
- Please use California’s My Turn website (ZIP code 95211) to sign up for a COVID-19 vaccination appointment. Flu vaccinations will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Visit the Vaccinations tab of our COVID-19 website for additional clinic dates and times.
For employees
- Human Resources has developed a set of FAQs to assist employees returning to work on campus. The FAQs cover university requirements and describe sick and other leaves that are available for employees who test positive for COVID-19 or need to care for family members.
As always, we continue to closely monitor COVID-19 in our communities and respond as needed. To learn more:
- Visit Pacific’s COVID-19 website, where you can find updated information for students and employees as well as previous communications.
- Email Pacific’s COVID-19 Council at COVID-19_information@pacific.edu.
Thank you for your continued commitment to keeping our community safe. We look forward to seeing you on campus next Monday.
Sincerely,
Your COVID-19 Council co-chairs Maria Blandizzi Vice President for Student Life COVID-19 Council Co-chair Maria Pallavicini Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs COVID-19 Council Co-chair
