Lee Skinner named new dean of College of the Pacific

Dear Pacificans,

I am delighted to report that we have successfully concluded our national search for the new dean of College of the Pacific. Please join me in welcoming Dean Lee Skinner of Tulane University to the Pacific family.

Dr. Skinner comes to us with an extraordinary record of student-centric leadership. She currently serves as dean of Newcomb-Tulane College at Tulane, where she is focused on the success of the university’s 8,000 undergraduate students and works to enhance faculty-student connections and create inclusive and diverse learning environments.

Prior to joining Tulane, she served as associate dean of the faculty at Claremont McKenna College. She has a well-deserved reputation as a highly collaborative and innovative leader who has devoted her career to the success of students. In short, she is an ideal fit for Pacific to lead our oldest and largest college.

You can read more about Dr. Skinner here. She will start Jan. 3.
