Pacific employees contribute to United Way drive

University of the Pacific employees pledged more than $32,000 in the annual United Way campaign that ended on November 18.

A total of 111 employees pledged $32,330 to United Way, either through payroll deductions or one-time gifts.

In previous years, Pacific has hosted the United Way of San Joaquin County’s annual kickoff luncheon on campus. Because that event could not be held this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the United Way will instead host a virtual “Power of One” event, which will include a video message from Pacific President Christopher Callahan.

More information will be available soon on how you can attend the virtual event, Dec. 3 at noon.

While the campaign for payroll deductions has ended, one-time gifts to United Way of San Joaquin County can be made any time by using this link.

Thank you, Pacific employees, for helping improve the lives of others in our region through your continued support of this important community partner.
