Pacific's Red Folder is a new resource for supporting students

To assist faculty and staff with supporting students in distress, the Office of the Dean of Students has created the Pacific Red Folder. The folder provides guidance on identifying students in need of support services and referring them to the appropriate resource(s).

The Red Folder is being distributed to faculty and staff on Pacific's Stockton Campus. The Office of the Dean of Students has begun visiting faculty and key student-serving units to discuss supporting students in distress and how to use the folder.

Units that are interested in receiving additional training may contact Assistant Dean of Students Anne Eastlick (aeastlick@pacific.edu).

The Office of the Dean of Students is adapting the Red Folder for the Sacramento and San Francisco campuses. Questions about supporting students in distress on those campuses may be directed to Associate Dean of Students for Sacramento and San Francisco Heather Dunn Carlton (hdunncarlton@pacific.edu).
