Staff and student Spring 2020 Climate Survey begins this week

Staff and student Spring 2020 Climate Survey begins this week

University of the Pacific periodically surveys its students, faculty and staff to learn what Pacific is doing well and where the university can improve.

Beginning Feb. 19, students and staff on Pacific’s three campuses will be invited to participate in a survey regarding the university’s culture and climate, opportunities and challenges. Students and staff will receive an email (sent to their Pacific email address) with the subject line University of the Pacific Spring 2020 Climate Survey. Faculty will receive an email directly from COACHE containing an individualized link to the Faculty Job Satisfaction survey.

The opinions of staff and students are important to the university and they are encouraged to share about their experiences at Pacific. All survey responses are completely confidential. No individual responses will be identified.

During the summer, Pacific will analyze the results and compare them with those collected in 2015, when these surveys were last conducted. A summary and action plans for next steps will be shared with the university community this fall.

For questions about the student and staff survey, please contact Associate Director for Institutional Research Margaret Luu (mluu@pacific.edu). For the faculty survey, please contact Vice Provost for Faculty Affairs Joan Lin-Cereghino (jlincere@pacific.edu).
