Todd Davenport to participate in Provost Faculty Administrative Leadership Program

Provost Maria Pallavicini is pleased to announce Todd Davenport, PT, DPT, MPH, OCS, as the first faculty member to participate in the Provost Faculty Administrative Leadership Program.

This program was developed to support professional development for Pacific faculty members who are interested in leadership in higher education. It is an opportunity to develop skills and expand knowledge, including the challenges facing administration in higher education, and to gain an understanding of priorities in the Academic Division. Experiential learning is an integral part of the program, which involves an administrative project.

Davenport serves as professor and program director in the Department of Physical Therapy in the Thomas J. Long School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. He received his Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Southern California in 2002 and a Master of Public Health from the University of California, Berkeley, in 2016. He joined the Pacific faculty in 2007.

Davenport's administrative project will involve working with College of the Pacific Dean Rena Fraden and her faculty to develop an undergraduate interdisciplinary health studies major and assist Vice Provost Berit Gundersen with planning for the School of Health.
